Felix Vargas Film

So on the 9th of december I showed the Felix Vargas film in Urcos. Jorge could not be there because he was recuperating in the hospital form his appendicitis. But it was so awesome, we showed it in the Plaza and there were at least over 120 people at minimum there and about 43 people accepted Christ. Praise God! Hey, Urcos has been very hard to work in. Everyone is always working and most dont want to listen to the word of God for there lives. Well for exaple the other day there was a big festival and pictures of catholic saints all over the plaza and the people were like worshiping them. They need to know what the word of God actualy says. And that is why we dont and cant give up. We finally have a really good contact, a 15 year old boy named Cecar. He accepted Christ and wants us to visit his house and talk to his family. God is Good!! Thank you all so much for you cntilual support and prayer. God bless.

So yesterday we had a kids festival in Urcos and it went great!! We got there and I throw the rico costume on and Cailyn walked around and invited kids to the fesival. I cant really tell you how many people were there, but I can tell you there was a lot. So after the kids festival we were planning on showing a the Jesus film but wene that time rolled around we saw we were missing a few cords for the sound.. So we improvised and I played my guitar and we sang. But we still ended up still getting a few new contacts. So even tho things dont go the way we plan them, Gods plans always work way better. And we also have to remember that when your fighting in a war (or even in spiritual warfare) nothing ever works out to plan. We all just need to be open to change when the sitution calls for it. First week in Urcos

Urcos has about 10,000 people living in it and most os the time 3 to 4 familys in a house. The major problems they have is alcoholism and violence among familys. I talked to a lady and she said there was 6 different religious groups there but she did not know what they were. Of course Catholicism is big there and some people wont even talk to us because were not Catholic. But Im not going to lie God is there and He is ready to be known. Just this week we had about 12 people just from Urcos accepted the Lord into there hearts. Amen!! just form this week Jorge and I also have gotten 6 new contacts just from going door to door and talking with people.

Es la capital de Quispicanchi un hermoso lugar ubicado a 53KM de Cusco y su union posibilita la union de las rutas entre Cusco, Puno,Madre de Dios; Urcos fue fundado el 5 de febrero de 1875; Urcos se ubica a 3150 M.S.N.M en la zona del valle interandino.
Urcos tiene una poblacion de 10,087 habitantes. 51,3% son mujeres y 48.7% son varones ; de de 1059 habitantes el 80,2% son mujeres analfabetas y el 19,8% son varones analfabetos . y la mayoria (67,5%) corresponde a la zona rurral
